Decorating the car are “889”, Goodyear, Volkswagen, and Hot Wheels logos. Mud splatter and the low production symbol can be found on the sides.
Features include tinted windows, a yellow interior, and a tan plastic Malaysia base. The car rolls on tan Beadlock Off-Road wheels.

The Volkswagen “Baja Bug” made its Hot Wheels debut in the 2019 Car Culture: Desert Rally series. It is based on a modified version of the classic Volkswagen Beetle that has been customized for off-road driving.
